Goose Sorensen's Favorite Go-To Easy Dessert

 

Note. This recipe is a favorite of my family and can be used with any cake or brownie and you can add fruit or flavoring of of any kind nuts, chocolate or candy!  Explore a little and use this as a base and it’s fun for kids to try! You will need a large glass Trifle bowl or individual glasses like a martini or beer glass!

Shopping list
  • Brownie or cake mix or pre made angel food cake
  • Peanut butter cups or you families favorite chocolate candy
  • Whole Milk
  • Instant Vanilla Pudding mix
  • Creamy Peanut Butter
  • Vanilla Extract or any type of booze you like
  • Cool Whip. More you can also use home made whipped cream

Bake the brownies of if you buy the cake cut the finished product into 3/4 inch pieces. Whisk the milk into the pudding mix, just follow the direction and add the peanut butter and half nuts candy or chocolate pieces to the mix. Fold in half of the Cool Whip to the mix and 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract. Place some of the cut cake or brownies in the bottom of the vessel you have chosen, enough to cover the bottom, and then put a 1/3 of the pudding mix on top of that. You can sprinkle any “fixings” on top of the layer. Repeat this process until you have filled the vessel with goodies. Like I said get creative with what you put into the layers! After you’re done stick it in the fridge for a few hours covered and then serve! Your family with love discovering new ideas to add to this one!!
